Day 1 Dehli
Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Afternoon optional sightseeing of Old Dehli. Welcome dinner and overnight in the grandure of a luxury Delhi Hotel. (D)

Day 2  Dehli - Manali (2050m)
Airport transfer. Depart Delhi on flight to Kullu and transfer to Manali. Relax in the fresh alpine airs and explore  this picturesque evergreen hill station town. Visit  the hadimba Temple amidst the deodars only a short walk from your hotel and sample the local merchandise, especially pashmina shawls. Overnight at a luxury alpine hotel amidst deodar woods (B,L,D)

Day 3  Manali - Kelong- Kaza (3600m) over  Kunzum La (4551m)
Drive up to Grampho near Kelong over the Rohtang Pass (3978m) to behold stunning views of the haunting beauty of Lahaul Valley and lunar landscapes of the Zanskar mountain range. Journey on through the  Lahaul Valley over Kunzum La to Kaza in Spiti Valley (185km/6hrs) Relax and acclimatise in the comfort of a deluxe Resort hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 4  Kaza - Kibber Village (4205m) - Ki Gompa - Kaza (3600m)
Leisurely morning to further relax and acclimatise and explore Kaza town as you feel up it. Afternoon visit to Kibber, the highest inhabited village at 4205m and Ki Gompa, the largest Gelukpa Monastery in Spiti valley. Overnight at resort in Kaza.(B,L,D)

Day 5  Kaza - Pin Valley - Kaza (3600m) 
Morning short drive and trek (1½-2hr) from Kangri village to Sangam village  in the picturesque  Pin valley, the land of the precious snow leopard and Ibex. Visit Kangri Gompa and museum of the Nyingma Tibetan Buddhist tradition and also the village school. Overnight at resort in Kaza. (B,L,D)

Day 6  Kaza - Tabo (3050m) via Lalung & Dhankar Gompa

Drive to Tabo (85km/2½ hr) and en route visit Lalung Gompa reknown for its exquisite frescoes and Dhankar, the oldest monastery and original capital of Spiti which is literally built perched upon a pinnacled mountain range. Optional walk from Dhankar Gompa down to main road (45mins). Overnight  stay in deluxe hotel in Tabo or the monastery’s heritage guesthouse (B,L,D)

Day 7  Tabo - Nakoo
Morning visit Tabo’s millenium Monastery and its impressive mudbrick Lakhangs well over 1000 years old and famous for frescoes, wood cravings and stucco art as precious as that found in Alchi Gompa, Ladakh. Also visit to Tabo’s cave temples and paintings and HH Dalai Lama’s retreat, monastery and school. Late afternoon drive to Nakoo (60km/2hrs). Overnight in luxury camp in Kinnaur Valley. (B,L,D)

Day 8  Nakoo - Kalpa (2960m)

Morning visit to Nakoo village, temple and lake and nearby bear witness to Guru Padmasambhava ‘sabje’ footprint, trantic master of Tibetan Buddism. Travel on the old Hindustan–Tibet trade route along the Sutlej river (120km/4hrs)  into the the heart of the Kinnaur Valley and home to peoples of a unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Visit the Hindu-Buddhist temple and enjoy splendid views of Kinnaur Kailash rising to a majestic peak of 6050m. Overnight in a comfortable government tourist hotel (B,L,D)

Day 9  Kalpa - Sangla (2680m)
Morning drive (42km/1½ hrs) and enter the most beautiful Sangla Valley, resemblant of Kashmir and visit Sangla’s  Hindu-buddhist temple, and the Kamru Fort where leather wears are prohibited. Admire the traditional Kinnauri old houses amidst the precious saffron fields and pretty apple orchards. Overnight stay near banks of surging Baspa river at very cosy luxury camp couched among apple orchards. (B,L,D)

Day 10  Sangla - Chitkul (3450m) - Sangla
After a leisurely breakfast, drive half way to Chitkul village of Baspa Valley, bordering Uttarakhand  and hike the rest of the way and back weather permitting. Enjoy the charming village and temple of Chitkul  and traditional architecture. Another night at the luxury camp in Sangla Valley. (B,L,D) *Possible permit checks  

Day 11  Sangla - Sarahan (2165m)
Morning drive to Sarahan (82km/2-3hrs). Visit to the oldest fort and its tower building and Sarahan’s  heritage bungalow now home of the former Minister. Be transported by the wonderful views of Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5227m) and hike around the  picturesque apple orchards and temple complex.
In the evening visit the Bhimakali Temple for the lively aarti puja ceremony. Overnight stay at a comfortable government tourist hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 12  Sarahan - Shimla (2205m) via Rampur
After early morning puja as you like and breakfast, then drive to the State capital, Shimla (175km/6hrs) along the Sultej river for half of the way. En route visit  Bushars  Palace and the Buddhist Temple of Rampur. Overnight at a delightful heritage hotel of the erstwhile British Raj era. (B,L,D)

Day 13  Shimla 
Rest and  relaxation day in the hill station capital and freedom to explore the bazaars and potter up the mountainside in the splendid little steam train. Enjoy the heritage and history of your hotel, high noon tea and have heavenly day in Himachal Pradesh. Overnight Heritage hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 14  Shimla - Delhi
Morning free and late afternoon start your return journey to Delhi, a short drive then train from Kalka Railway station on the Shatabodi Express. Overnight air-conditioned sleeper train. Dinner available on board (B, L)

Day15  Dehli
Arrive early morning to New Dehli and transfer to your own hotel or airport  End of your Samadhi journey.
